In case you’re interested, I’m doing an author AMA (ask me anything) all day today over on reddit about my work and the publishing process. Swing on by and ask me a question :)
Paperback launch notice: Champion’s Wrath (Fury of a Rising Dragon, book 4)
Heyas :)
Shipping is a touch slower these days so I thought I’d launch the paperback as soon as it was ready. This way those who are gifting it to others (or themselves ;) will hopefully receive it in time for the holiday season. At 275,000 words, it’s an epic book (and it just managed to squeeze in under the max page count with the printer). Can’t tell you how much fun I had writing it and how excited I am for you to read it!
The Kindle ebook is launching this Friday/Saturday, depending on how long Amazon’s approval process takes. But you’ll get an email from me as soon as it’s live.
You can snag the paperback copy of Champion’s Wrath (Fury of a Rising Dragon, book 4) from your country as follows:
USA
Canada
UK
Japan
Italy
Spain
France
Germany
Please note some countries may not be able to order the paperback yet due to Covid restrictions, which are beyond my control as they are set by Amazon.
All my best to you and those you love,
—Sever
✨Champion’s Wrath Cover + Blurb Reveal✨
Summoning dragons exacts a price. Can they afford to pay it?
Augum, Bridget and Leera are the first to summon dragons in thousands of years. But the ancient spell inflicts an unforeseen side effect—after every casting, it turns them against each other.
As the Canterran army plunders their kingdom, Katrina Von Edgeworth uses her siege engine dragon to crush all resistance. The trio, fledglings at fighting in the air, soon find themselves outmatched.
Now everything hangs by a thread and Augum, Bridget and Leera must somehow carve a path to victory—without gouging each other’s eyes out.
Little do they know the enemy is readying a deadly surprise.

Champion’s Wrath is the grand finale to the Fury of a Rising Dragon series. Also by Sever Bronny: The Arinthian Line series, the epic coming of age adventure that began it all.

I’m so excited to at last be able to share the cover and blurb with you guys. It’s been a long and emotional journey to get to this point, but we’re finally in the home stretch. So get ready to embark on another wondrous adventure with the trio, because it’s just around the corner!
All my best to you and those you love,

P.S. ART: watch out for the email, it’s coming soon ;)
Announcing the name of the book that will conclude the epic fantasy “Fury of a Rising Dragon” series
Heyas! How’s everyone doing? I’m going to announce the name of the next book. But before I do, I just wanted to note that I haven’t posted lately because I’ve been taking a break from social media to focus on finishing a major editing round, which was incredibly complex due to the sheer scale of the book.
And the book is epic, and I mean EPIC. I have a feeling you guys will be quite satisfied with how this particular series ends.
Now on to the crux of the post . . .
The name of the last book of the Fury of a Rising Dragon series will be Champion’s Wrath. It is currently on schedule for a December launch. (The image I uploaded is a stock image to whet your appetites.)
I’m also trying to decide on which series to write next: a story of the trio as adults, or a story about Mrs. Stone’s tempestuous youth. What are your thoughts?
Audiobook of Mercy’s Trial (Fury of a Rising Dragon, book 3) launches today! #fantasy #audiobook #series
So only two weeks after concluding the audiobook version of The Arinthian Line series with the launch of Legend, I can now proudly declare that the audiobook for Mercy’s Trial (Fury of a Rising Dragon, book 3) launches today! That means you’ll be all caught up audiobook-wise, and will be able to listen to the entire adventure up to this point straight through.
Getting to this point has been a long time in coming. Thank you to everyone involved in making this possible.
Oh and I need your help. I don’t have an advance reader team for my audiobooks, thus I am putting in a call to all listeners to please leave a review of my books on audible if you’re able to. It would mean a lot to me. Thank you :)
News on Fury of a Rising Dragon, book 4:
I am now 196,000 words into book 4, the first draft of which is rapidly drawing to a conclusion. It’s a thrill to write this book because the trio are having to mature at a rapid clip, Augum above all. He faces some tough choices ahead, but some exciting ones too. A great battle brews the likes of which has hardly been seen in the kingdom in thousands of years.
Leera is mostly her usual peppy self, but she’s steadily gaining confidence. As for Bridget, she has been struggling with various things, from loathing the idea of taking lives to worrying about ruining her relationship with Olaf due to circumstance.
Lots more to come. Hang in there, and I hope you are keeping safe in these turbulent times. All my best to you and those you love,
—Sever Bronny
At long last, the epic fantasy audiobook LEGEND launches, concluding The Arinthian Line series
It feels strange to announce happy news right now, but perhaps it will bring a small bit of joy to those who have been waiting for this piece of news for many years now.
Thus, at long last, it gives me great honor to announce the audiobook release of LEGEND, the conclusion to the epic fantasy audiobook series The Arinthian Line.

It’s been an incredible journey for this saga. Audiobooks of this length are difficult to produce and distribute, that is why I would like to extend a very special thank you to Stefan Rudnicki, who believed in the project and pushed for it, as well as the rest of the team over at Skyboat Media and Blackstone distribution.
And I would like to thank you, the listener and reader, for believing in my work enough to finish this dream.
Happy listening,
—Sever
P.S. For those of you who will now be finishing the series up, please consider leaving honest reviews on audible for my work. Thank you :)
Congratulations to the winner of the Instagram contest!

Clash (The Arinthian Line, book 4) audiobook is now out!
Warlocks Augum, Bridget and Leera are finally able to relax after a grueling ordeal in Bahbell. Now their fugitive mentor has a dangerous new quest—sneak into an ancient library and research an artifact that could devastate the Legion.
Their substitute mentor Leopold Harvus, however, is an obsessive and petty man with a distaste for anything untoward, particularly Augum and Leera’s affections for each other. As their studies suffer from his meddling, one brazen act of rebellion plunges the trio and their quest into mortal peril, for Harvus quickly proves he is not a man to be trifled with.

Arinthian Line news!
Hiyas!
How was your summer? Mine has been hectic, to say the least. But I’ll get to that in a moment. First off, I want to share some massive news that many of you have been hoping would happen for quite some time. At long last, the last two audiobooks in The Arinthian Line series are going to be published!

That’s right–Clash is launching on Christmas Eve, December 24th, and Legend is launching Mar 31st 2020! Which means you’ll finally be able to listen to the entire adventure straight through. In fact, you can pre-order the Clash audiobook now using this link.
I can’t thank you enough for your patience. Audiobooks are a massively labor-intensive and expensive process, so I am particularly grateful to Grammy winner Stefan Rudnicki for believing in the project and pushing to have it completed. Stefan has narrated some heavyweights, including Orson Scott Card’s Ender’s Game. Here’s what he had to say on the matter:
“It’s been my honor and pleasure to voice Sever Bronny’s first three Arinthian Line novels, and I’m thrilled that I’ll now be getting back into that magical world for another 45 or so hours of high adventure storytelling. Over these years, Augum, Bridget, Leera, and of course Anna Atticus Stone, have become some of my very favorite characters. I think of them as friends, and the thought of hanging with them some more feels more like a vacation than work.”
—Stefan Rudnicki, September 2019
This announcement is quite timely, for I’m celebrating a personal milestone–on this day, four years ago, I quit my day job to be a full-time author. It’s hard to describe what that means to me in a notoriously fickle industry. And another anniversary is coming up too: the 5-year launch anniversary of Arcane. I’ll be throwing a contest to celebrate that moment (late November), which will have its own email.
Other news:
Mercy’s Trial (Fury of a Rising Dragon, book 3) is on schedule for a December launch. Cover and blurb reveal coming soon. The book is massive–240,000 words–and is in the late editing stages. It was an incredibly complicated project that took a lot of energy to finish, but man was it rewarding (you guys are going to love where things have gone with the trio and their friends). But I’ll talk more about it in the coming reveal (wait till you see the cover!).
And thank you to everyone who voted for Arcane in the Epic Fantasy Fanatics contest! Arcane qualified for the next round thanks to your efforts. It’s now in the judging phase of the contest.
And yes, there will be a book 4 in the Fury of a Rising Dragon series.
All my best to you and those you love,
Sever
Two pieces of news this time around:
– Announcing the name of book 3
– I need your help nominating Arcane for its first-ever book contest
Firstly, I’m excited to announce that the name of the next book, coming out in December, will be Mercy’s Trial (Fury of a Rising Dragon, book 3). It’s an epic work (a book as long as Legend!). It’s currently with my wife, who is doing the developmental editing. When that gets done, it’s going to go through another couple of edit rounds before a line editor takes over. The cover reveal will come in the next few months. In the meantime, I’ll get to start writing book 4! Needless to say, I’m ultra excited.
Secondly, I’d like to ask your help with something I’ve never tried before–a book contest! Epic Fantasy Fanatics is running a massive contest on Facebook, and I’ve submitted Arcane for contention. The tricky part is that Arcane will require 100 nominations to enter the main contention round, and I’ve only got a handful so far because I haven’t publicized that I’ve entered the contest. Nominating the book is super quick and easy:
Simply go to Arcane’s nomination page (link below), scroll down, and click on “nominate”. Doing so will prompt an automatic Facebook dialogue asking you if you wish to nominate Arcane. Click on “Yes.”
Link to Arcane’s nomination page
The nomination round ends in four days (July 14th), so your help in getting us to 100 is crucial. Thank you so much for your amazing support :)
So what do you think of the name Mercy’s Trial? Are you as excited as I am?
All the best,
Sever
The Latest News

Let’s get to the big news first: the audiobook for Honor’s Price (Fury of a Rising Dragon, book 2) just launched today!
It’s narrated by the accomplished Gary Furlong, from Ireland.
I’ve been getting a lot of emails asking about when more audiobooks are going to come out, but unfortunately audiobooks take a long time to produce—especially for fantasy epics, which is the kind I write. The best thing you can do to help speed the process along is to get the distributors to take notice, which means leaving an honest review of any of my audiobooks on audible.
On to other matters.
I hope the wait for book 3 in the Fury of a Rising Dragon series is not too excruciating. I’ll be releasing the title of the work in the coming months. I’m also still on track for an early December launch, and am having a blast editing the book. It’s a big adventure with a lot of new character development and a whole new storyline that’s going to take things in an incredible direction. Augum’s main challenge in this work will be to control his temper while stepping into the shoes of a true leader. The girls too will have their own unique challenges.
I’m quite excited about where things are headed with this series, and have big plans for our intrepid trio—as well as a unique combination of spellcasting and story I simply cannot wait for you to experience.
There’s been a lot of mail in general from you happy folks (I post the “best-of” here on this site). You’ve been amazingly supportive and understanding of how long these stories take to crank out and get right. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you to each and every one of you :)
All my best to you and those you love, and happy listening to Honor’s Price!
Sever
P.S. I added a recent photo of me inducting Honor’s Price into the local downtown library here in Victoria, BC.
