✨Champion’s Wrath Cover + Blurb Reveal✨

Summoning dragons exacts a price. Can they afford to pay it?

Augum, Bridget and Leera are the first to summon dragons in thousands of years. But the ancient spell inflicts an unforeseen side effect—after every casting, it turns them against each other.

As the Canterran army plunders their kingdom, Katrina Von Edgeworth uses her siege engine dragon to crush all resistance. The trio, fledglings at fighting in the air, soon find themselves outmatched.

Now everything hangs by a thread and Augum, Bridget and Leera must somehow carve a path to victory—without gouging each other’s eyes out.

Little do they know the enemy is readying a deadly surprise.

Champion’s Wrath is the grand finale to the Fury of a Rising Dragon series. Also by Sever Bronny: The Arinthian Line series, the epic coming of age adventure that began it all.

The Arinthian Line series (complete): Arcane Riven Valor Clash Legend The Fury of a Rising Dragon series (complete): Burden's Edge Honor's Price Mercy's Trial Champion's Wrath I grew up on Dragonlance and probably spent way too much time playing role-playing games. Then came the video games. But then, Nintendo was life in Toronto of '86. As a matter of fact, much of my youth could be considered "wasted" exploring escapism of one form or another. Now I'm a full-time author living in British Columbia, Canada. I have a wife who taught me what it means to love someone unconditionally. Buddha, my grumpy but rumpled-with-love cat, likes to keep watch from a Lego castle near my desk. (Update: said Lego castle has long been dismantled. Now she basks under a sun lamp). I suppose my favorite sagas are Harry Potter, Ender's Game, Lord of the Rings, Narnia, and Game of Thrones. I also love true-life survival tales like Into Thin Air, Shadowdivers, and Perfect Storm. As for movies, I regularly re-watch Bladerunner, Star Wars, Highlander, Aliens, Limitless, Edge of Tomorrow, Interstellar, Lost in Translation, and Margin Call. But I've been most inspired by Harry Potter. Seriously, because if it hadn't been for HP, I'd never have dared. I simply stood on the shoulders of a giant. Thank you for writing that story, Joanne Rowling, it was extremely re-readable. I can only hope to capture my readers' imagination as you have captured mine. When I was a kid, I dreamed I could spread my arms as wings, jump off the ground, and fly. My head was in the clouds (and in many ways, still is). It would be fair to say that my love of fantasy began then, steadily refined by movies, video games, and cozy books. As for me, I enjoy talking to my readers, so if you read one of my books, you're welcome to shoot me an email at severbronny@gmail.com. Throw me a question, comment, or just say hello. I blog at severbronny.com when the mood strikes me, and I'm on social media now and then. I don't publish too often, but you can subscribe to my newsletter to receive a notification when I do release new work (newsletter signup is at severbronny.com/contact). (I was also a musician at one time, having released three albums with my industrial-rock band Tribal Machine.) When all is said and done, I know how fortunate I am to be a full-time author. I think about it often--especially when I recall what it was like working the grind. Thus I humbly thank each and every reader for supporting my work.

  1. Hi Mr. Bronny, this is pretty unrelated to the post, but I was wondering if you ever gave mention to Terra Titan’s degree. All I could find was that she was an accomplished lightning warlock, but there was no mention of any specific degree. Was she accomplished in the sense that she was around the 10th degree (which is seems relatively rare for a warlock) or higher?

    1. Thank you! Alas, I have no idea. I’ll approach the publishing company (Tantor) and ask them if they’ll take on the project (I only signed a three-book contract with them, not realizing the series would go to four books).

  2. exept the fact about how the right one is only a little bigger it said it was 8 barn while augums was only 6

  3. you know what? i thought it was bridget and leera left leera right brideg cause it kinda looks like her but that makes sense

  4. It seems like no one is mentioning it but who are the dragons on the cover. I presume the one on the left is Augum because of the lightning rings on its arm, and the one on the right is Orion, because its breathing flame or something like it, which none of the trio have, and it doesn’t have any rings on its arm.

    1. This was the cover designer’s interpretation, so it will not be completely accurate relative to the story seeing as cover designers do not read the books :)

  5. Sever Bronny, May you Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease tell us the exact launch or atleast the week.(: Your books are the best and i dont know what to read!! (:

  6. How do you do it? I mean like how do you wright all of these amazing books?!? I can never figure it out! :)

  7. Soooo going out on a limb here. The reason arcaners in the past fought each other was the side affects of this spell.

  8. I’m crossing my fingers so hard that one might fall off so that no one dies… but I’m super excited though. We could all use a little arcanely during quarantine!

  9. Cron was clearly a very powerful spell – I think even more so than the Dragon Simul. That would seem to align based upon their prospective difficulties (20th Master, and 15th degree). But, we also know that Leyan spell’s difficulty’s don’t align with Sithesian’s spells. So does that mean that Rivican spells correspond with Leyan spells in terms of degree ratings? It would make sense, seeing as they were advanced enough to have civilized parts of Endraga Ra; something even Leyans haven’t done.
    Just a little curious.
And, side note, will the trio forget their Simul after destroying Orion much like they forgot Cron after defeating Lividius?
Side side note, your work is awesome, and I am forever grateful that you make a story that we can all enjoy!

    1. I don’t want to delve too deep into Rivican lore at this time, but what I can say is each civilization had its own tiers of spells, as well as its own variety of spells. Many have been lost to time, perhaps never to resurface. But some … some can still be rediscovered.

As for Cron, it was an insanely powerful spell. But something I never got around to with it was its eventual aging. What the trio didn’t know was that had they continued to cast it, they would have aged at faster and faster rates, not to mention seen more and more harrowing shadows/visions. Luckily they stopped when they did, as I don’t think people would have enjoyed seeing them tormented so much.

      >And, side note, will the trio forget their Simul after destroying Orion much like they forgot Cron after defeating Lividius?

No, this one they get to keep ;)

      >your work is awesome, and I am forever grateful that you make a story that we can all enjoy!

Thank you, I’m honored and deeply humbled by all the support everyone’s been showing for my work. Means a lot more than people think :)

  10. Im not complaining but why does every epic spell has side affects? Reflect: 1 time a day. Cron:ages you. summoning dragons: turns you against each other. but i love the sereis and cover/title are sick
