Introducing Storms of the Ancients

A perilous ocean voyage.
A tempest older than empires.

Ten thousand slaves toil on a demon ship. One such wretch, unable to use her sorcery—let alone turn into a dragon—is Bridget Burns. Mired in cutthroat survival, she fosters two allies: a terrified boy and a gargoyle with a most undemonic trait—empathy.

Warlocks Augum and Leera, each embroiled in crew conflict, sail in pursuit. They barrel toward an impenetrable storm infested with leviathans. A storm hiding an ancient secret.

While Bridget must use her wits to keep herself and the boy alive, Augum and Leera must rally the crew before braving the maelstrom, all in the hopes of discovering what none have ever seen . . .

What awaits on the other side.

A high-seas fantasy adventure set in the world of the epic bestselling sagas The Arinthian Line,Fury of a Rising Dragon, and Chronicles of Anna Atticus Stone.

I’ve always wanted to write an epic ocean voyage, so to be able to do it with Augum, Bridget and Leera is extra special. And oh boy did I have a blast writing this one. After a solid year of work and keeping the cards close to my chest, I’m beyond excited to finally reveal the title, cover, and blurb of a brand new series coming December 6th (pre-order link below). It’s a saga about a certain trio of twenty-year-olds freshly graduated from an arcane academy of warlocks. A saga that could be read without having read prior works of mine.

Without further ado, I present . . .

Whispers of Wrath (Arcane Legacy, book 1)

Augum Stone is one of three champion warlocks. Alongside his betrothed Leera Jones and their sister-in-war Bridget Burns, the trio protect their kingdom by wielding an ancient power. A power that devours their empathy.

A power that turns them into dragons.

As the trio battles callousness, strange events unfold. Lightning strikes that silence nearby warlocks. Fog that nullifies arcane artifacts. Moss infestations that siphon sorcery.

Recognizing that these events could destroy the power of the dragon, the trio set out to investigate. Their quest for answers will take them to the deep north, the deep sea, and the depths of an abandoned castle.

But what they uncover will plunge all the kingdoms into peril.

For something is coming.

Something that sees everyone as prey.

Coming December 6th, 2024. Pre-order now:

USA | UK | CANADA | AUSTRALIA | GERMANY | FRANCE | SPAIN | ITALY | NETHERLANDS | JAPAN | MEXICO | INDIA

The book will be available in ebook, paperback (paperback launches day of release), audiobook (launches early 2025), and on Kindle Unlimited.

✨Champion’s Wrath Cover + Blurb Reveal✨

Summoning dragons exacts a price. Can they afford to pay it?

Augum, Bridget and Leera are the first to summon dragons in thousands of years. But the ancient spell inflicts an unforeseen side effect—after every casting, it turns them against each other.

As the Canterran army plunders their kingdom, Katrina Von Edgeworth uses her siege engine dragon to crush all resistance. The trio, fledglings at fighting in the air, soon find themselves outmatched.

Now everything hangs by a thread and Augum, Bridget and Leera must somehow carve a path to victory—without gouging each other’s eyes out.

Little do they know the enemy is readying a deadly surprise.

Champion’s Wrath is the grand finale to the Fury of a Rising Dragon series. Also by Sever Bronny: The Arinthian Line series, the epic coming of age adventure that began it all.

Announcing the name of the book that will conclude the epic fantasy “Fury of a Rising Dragon” series

Heyas! How’s everyone doing? I’m going to announce the name of the next book. But before I do, I just wanted to note that I haven’t posted lately because I’ve been taking a break from social media to focus on finishing a major editing round, which was incredibly complex due to the sheer scale of the book.

And the book is epic, and I mean EPIC. I have a feeling you guys will be quite satisfied with how this particular series ends.

Now on to the crux of the post . . .

The name of the last book of the Fury of a Rising Dragon series will be Champion’s Wrath. It is currently on schedule for a December launch. (The image I uploaded is a stock image to whet your appetites.)

I’m also trying to decide on which series to write next: a story of the trio as adults, or a story about Mrs. Stone’s tempestuous youth. What are your thoughts?

Quick update…

I don’t get to note many triumphs since I only publish once a year, but today was a good day. I wrote 9051 of the most inspired words in my life. The book is at a staggering 261,000 words, so I got some serious editing ahead. But at least I am nearly done. Another few days or so should do it.

Spent half the day sobbing like a child because of the emotional gravity of certain scenes. It’s the end of the epic Fury of a Rising Dragon series, so a lot is happening. I suspect you guys are really going to enjoy it.

Anyway, just wanted to share that. I’m a wreck and look forward to a good night’s rest for a change. I blew past a deadline for this book so it’s been stressing me out. I think I’ll be okay now, though. This is going to be one heck of a finale.

Hope you are all well. More to come in due course.
