The Arena

Jan 15th 2022 update: Now added a discord server for the arena, for discussion, and even for role-playing in the world of Sithesia. Competing warlocks now have the opportunity to either duel here or in the server.

The audience shoots to their feet and roars as you step onto the warm sand of the arena. The flags flutter overhead as you see a thousand people watching you. This is your moment to show your skills as a pupil of the fabled Academy of Arcane Arts. Now it’s only a question of how you will perform . . .

Welcome to The Arena! This is where you can test your mettle against fellow academy pupils. The rules are as follows:

  1. Keep it clean and respectful. An academy pupil treats his opponents with honor, giving the standard courtesies. That of course includes a bow before and after a fight, as well as showing one’s stripes.
  2. Pupils are expected to use the full trigger phrase of the spell they are casting, as well as name of the spell. Example: “I slap my wrists together with the First Offensive, shouting, Annihilo!”
  3. All offensive spells shall be cast feathered, meaning at diminished strength. This is practice dueling only!
  4. Choose a time to duel, being mindful of time zones.
  5. Choose a nickname when in the arena. Augum, for example, would be called Augum “The Hood” Stone.
  6. Choose an element. Available elements are: fire, earth, water, air, lightning, ice (healers do not duel, and necromancy will not be an option at this time).
  7. Agree on degree level for all contestants prior to the duel. Available degrees are 1 to 9. This matters because you will not be allowed to cast spells of higher degree (for the purpose of simplicity we will not account for people training beyond their degree).
  8. Dice rolls: Roll a twenty-sided dice (“D20”) to cast a spell/strike an opponent. Add your degree level to the roll. A roll of 14 or higher hits. If the opponent chooses to dodge or parry, they must roll higher than you (they too will include their degree bonus). Tie rolls go to defender. Centarro adds +4 to all rolls. Shields add +2 to all defensive rolls. Elemental Armor allows for two free hits before destruction. Feel free to use online dice rollers like this one.
  9. Example: A 4th degree warlock smacks their wrists together, incanting, “Annihilo!” He/she then rolls a D20, getting a 10. They then add their degree, scoring a total of 14, which would strike. But their 2nd degree opponent chooses to block with a summoned shield. They roll a D20, getting an 9. Adding their degree and the shield bonus, their total is 13, which means they failed to raise their shield in time and the First Offensive struck true, scoring one point for the caster.
  10. GOLD EARNINGS: Each duel participant receives 5 crowns, regardless of who wins. The crowns must be honestly tabulated at home using the honor system, but you may appoint someone among you to hold the title of “Treasurer”. It will be that person’s responsibility to keep tabs on everyone’s earnings.

    The earnings can be used to purchase the following:

    5 crowns – A Potion of Trickery that, when consumed, takes away an opponent’s point. Costs one action to perform. Can only be consumed mid duel.
    25 crowns – A better quality practice weapon, earning +1 on all strike rolls when using it.
    35 crowns – Ring of Tempering: reduces all non-spell physical strike attack rolls by 1
    35 crowns – Ring of Striking: adds +1 to all physical attack rolls (non-spell attacks)
    35 crowns – Ring of Absorption: adds +1 to all defensive rolls against mind attack spells
    35 crowns – Ring of Consternation: opponent suffers -1 on all mind attack defensive rolls
    40 crowns – Circlet of Luck: +3 on all “Rolls to Succeed” (see below)
    40 crowns – Circlet of Retrial: Once per duel, you may ask for a re-roll of any one single roll
    50 crowns – A shimmering elemental robe that penalizes all castings cast against the wearer, endowing a -2 penalty on all opponent’s strike rolls (physical offensive spells only, not mind spells).
    100 crowns – The purchase of an arcane Dreadnought weapon of your choosing (can be an axe/sword/bow/staff etc). You also get to name it. +3 on all strike rolls, and has the ability to cast First Offensive through the weapon (for 3rd degree+ only).
    Author’s request 1: Come up with a list of items. Have Attendant Atticus email them to me. Feel free to suggest amendments to the above too.
    Author request 2: what sort of mechanics would you like introduced for penetrating a shield / Mind Armor / Elemental Armor due to strong attacks? And how would attacking using a fist / foot factor? Think it over/playtest some ideas, and get back to me in due course with specific mechanics.
    Author request 3: What sort of mechanic would you like to introduce that is house-specific? Perhaps certain off-the-books spells/abilities only available to those houses?
  11. RULES CLARIFICATION: Second Offensives (always cast tempered) result in two points being awarded if both strike true. Chances of both striking are as follows: should attempted defenses fail, defender rolls a D6. If it is 1-4, the attack is successful and attacker is awarded 2 points. If it is a 5 or 6 defender manages to sustain one of the two attacks, but dodges the other (imagine one hitting a leg and the other the ground, or one the torso and the other zipping underneath an arm, etc).
  12. RULES CLARIFICATION: Strength: Should a physical attack be successful under the influence of Strength, the attacker is awarded one extra point. Further, all non-attack Strength attempts that relate (like flipping someone, lifting something, etc) using dice rolls gain an additional +4 on any D20 “Rolls to succeed” attempt rolls.
  13. RULES ADDITION: D20 “Rolls to succeed“: Any player may use an attack to attempt something not as yet discussed. At that point, the player is asked to honestly self-assess the difficulty of accomplishing the feat, and roll a D20. For an easy feat, they must score a 10 or higher. For a moderate feat, 14 or higher. For a difficult feat, 18 or higher. A successful moderate feat earns the attemptee one extra crown at the end of the match. A successful difficult feat earns them an extra two crowns! [Author asks the players to play test this and “feel” it out for balance issues]
  14. 2 ON 2 DUELS: You may now duel each other in team pairs! All participants will get an automatic 8 crowns per person. Initiative is rolled each round using a D20 (twenty-sided die). To cut down on text-based messages, this may be accomplished by the master of ceremonies/appointed score keeper/one of the participants. Highest goes first, with ties going to the person with more points that round. If a tie still remains, those involved in the tie are to each roll a D20 until one gets higher than the other. Further, the winning team is each awarded two extra crowns per person. [Author asks the players to playtest 2 on 2 and get back to him (perhaps via Attendant Atticus) on how to improve the mechanics].
  15. [OPTIONAL CHALLENGE]: Start dueling at 1st degree. After every duel, you graduate one degree. When you hit the 10th, you can choose any degree (between 1-9) to duel with. A request from the author: if the community comes up with a rank title for those who complete this challenge, have Attendant Atticus email me with the resultant decision and I will amend the rule here to make it official, allowing for people to use the rank in their name.
  16. Agree who goes first. Take turns. You can roll a dice to add randomness.
  17. You can cast one spell per text post. The person reacting MUST do the following however: react to the spell cast at them, and cast a counterspell / make an action.
  18. Possible actions:
    – Cast a spell, such as summoning a shield or weapon, summon elemental armor, Disarm, a First Offensive (feathered of course), etc. etc.
    – Block with shield / parry with practice weapon (practice weapons can be retrieved telekinetically from the carts that are wheeled out prior to each duel, costing one action). Weapon classes: spear, sword (short/long), dagger, axe, halberd, club, bow & quiver (3 arrows in quiver allowed max), any other reasonable weapon you can imagine.
    – Move to engage opponent in hand-to-hand combat (or with weapons)
    – Move away from approaching opponent
    – Dodge / duck / jump over the spell / twirl aside / (the audience roars for greater creativity!) etc.
    – Slash / thrust / slice / jab with weapon (etc). Can also throw the weapon.
    – Telekinetically bend the arc of an arrow / fireball / thrown object. Available only to 5th degrees and up.
    – Battle ‘port away (available only to 9th degrees and up)
    – Reflect a spell using Mirror of the Dragon (available only to aspirants who have passed the Arcaner trials and have subsequently gone through the training. Will flesh out rules in due course).
  19. [OPTIONAL RULE] You can use up to two dodges per battle, so choose wisely. After your dodges have been used up, the opponent’s spells strike true (as long as they roll a 14).
  20. Each opponent can withstand one hit to their Mind Armor before future spells blow through. At that point, the defender must roll a six-sided dice (known as a “D6”) Alternately, the Master of Ceremonies can be the dice roller. Results as follows:

    -A roll of 1 means the attack is successful and does full damage to the mind (1 point awarded, combatant must role-play how it affects them). So if it’s a Sleep spell, the person struck is put to sleep and the duel is over then and there.
    -A roll of 2 means the attack is somewhat successful and does half damage to the mind (1 point awarded, combatant must role-play how it affects them)
    -A roll of 3 means the attack is a partial glancing blow, and does no damage, but a quarter of the effect is felt by the person sustaining the attack (no point awarded).
    -A roll of 4 means the spell crumpled against the pupil’s Mind Armor (no effect/damage)
    -A roll of 5 means the spell crumpled against the pupil’s Mind Armor (no effect/damage)
    -A roll of 6 means the spell crumpled against the pupil’s Mind Armor (no effect/damage)

    All pupils are expected to report their rolls honestly. That is the way of honor that all pupils who hope to last in the academy shall obey. And losing a duel can be just as fun as winning one. After all, everyone learns from a loss and becomes slightly better not just as a pupil, but as a combatant. Losing builds characters more than winning.
  21. First to three solid hits wins! (This will keep the duels shorter). [OPTIONAL RULE:If no one is waiting in the wings to duel, both opponents can duel to five points]. But if a pupil believes he has been outmaneuvered in an incredible fashion (let’s say they believe their opponent was being particularly imaginative with their attack) then that pupil may do the honorable thing and bend the knee.
  22. For added fun, a third person can play the role of the Master of Ceremonies (Think Lucca Giovanni from the book Clash). This person’s sole job is to dramatize the events before them. They will also be the judge of the tournament, assigning points, making rules calls, etc.
  23. You’re welcome to suggest rules / amendments below. Due to the limitations of a text-based duel in this site, we will all have to be a little patient and forgiving in how things flow. A pupil is expected to do their best and to use their imaginations, as they are the most potent weapons they have. Good luck to all combatants!

The scene: The crowd stirs anxiously as the combatants meet in the center of the sandy arena. They are bare of foot and wearing the color of their respective degree. It is a [Master of Ceremonies chooses weather] day, and people have paid good money to see quality practice duels. In attendance we have academy arcanists, always keen to see how students are progressing. We have two high-degree healers as well, eager to help combatants injured in the fray [Master of Ceremonies may role-play what they do]. And of course, we have representative heralds from the Blackhaven Herald, the Antioc Herald, and the Academy Herald (Cry Slimwealth may be in attendance). And they like to gossip.

The heralds have been seen chatting together, in fact. Speculation has been mounting on whether or not everyone would get a glimpse of the fabled trio, who have been said to be interested in the events. Everyone is hoping to get a visit from one of them, although they are quite busy people these days guarding the kingdom. Perhaps in due course . . .

      1. That’s Black Eagle Niterra Bladorang (I think that’s what the name is, hard to read). She’s a Black Eagle from the royal guard and teaches the dueling club. After all, the Black Eagles are master duelers.

  9. It is a clear sunny day. And it is 97 degrees outside. And the bell just struck 11 times(I Think this is correct)so it is 11:00

    1. I calmly walk into the arena, ignoring the curious looks people shoot my way, I bow and flash 1 ring of ice silently, waiting for my opponent.

      1. I stroll in across from you, strutting with a confident head bob, until I stop. I summon 1 crackling ring of lightning and bow the bow of a royal, before saying, “You first,” in a voice amplified by the Master of Ceremonies.

      2. I reach behind my back attempting to grab a sword with telekinesis unnoticed by you, while running forward and attempting to punch you in the face.

        I got a 19 against the sword and a 12 against the punch. My instincts warn me of something, and I duck to see a sword fly over my head, but that left me vulnerable to your punch. I then yell “Shyneo!” and grab you with the Shock extension. That’s a 16

        For the shock, A NATURAL 17 i cant believe it so 18, i see the shock coming and expertly twirl around while taking control of your hand. I then try to yank all of the carts up into the air with telekinesis.

        I saw your shock coming and jumped back from our tangled position so your shock fails, and I say, “Never try the same tactic more than once unless if it succeeds” but as I was distracted, your kick connects with my shin and pain shoots up my leg. I reach forward with a hand and try for a desperate attempt to grab your leg with telekinesis, all the while dropping down and conducting a perfect sweep.

      10. I, too, am extremely lucky and roll a Nat 20 and got a 7 as well. So I let your Telekinesis pull my leg out from under me, but I go with it and use the momentum to do a back handspring and, much to the crowd’s amazement, kick your jaw mid-flip. I then attempt Shock again, muttering, “It work some time.” A 18 for the flip-kick thingy, a 12 for Shock.

  12. I do have a question before me and Treasurer Devon duel, is it possible for a pupil to master two elements? Other than their own and necromancy.

    1. If you mean master as in earning the master rank in both, probably not, and if so it would be Krakatos. However, Mrs. Stone demonstrates the ability to learn multiple elements. We are aware of her healing abilities, but in Valor with the Henawa, when the Henawa demand a “magic” fire, Mrs. Stone lights it, obviously using an albeit low degree fire spell. However, Mrs. Stone explains that to be extremely difficult as it goes against the grain of arcanery.

    2. Kaladin, since I can’t log onto here very often, can you give me a call for when we’re planning on doing this?

    1:What happened when you-Know-Who swallowed it? I forgot.

    2:What happens when it is burnt.Would it knock them out?

    1. I don’t know who swallowed it, but I can find both answers in Arcane. Leera once put stinkroot in the drinks and spirits at an Academy banquet, causing everyone to rush to the bathrooms, which we can assume how horrible that was. As for burning it, Augum tossed stinkroot into a fire in Arcane after reviving Leera with it. I remember it had a nauseating smell, and burned like oil, but not enough to render someone unconscious.

    2. SPOILER ALERT IN SERIES 1!!!when August competed in the Anioc Classic. And Lee when in Restricted area.

      2. I don’t know what scene you’re talking about in the Antioc Classic, but when Leera was in the Restricted area, she got nauseous, and a bit loopy.

  21. By the way, I think that using a weapon of any kind to make a melee attack should add a +2 bonus to attack rolls, like shields do with defense rolls. Otherwise, there’s no point in grabbing a weapon when you could just deck them.

  22. I go on the offensive right off the bat, punching you in the face with telekinesis. I got a 17+1=18, which is a hit.

    1. You can’t punch me in the face with telekinesis. Ignoring that, I roll a 9+1=10, failing to dodge it. Your fist connects, and I feel my nose start to drip blood. The score is now 1-0.

      I reach behind me and summon a short sword from the weapon rack with telekinesis. I raise it and prepare for your next attack.

      1. (Before I did my first action, I did the show stripes and bow. I forgot sorry) I dash backwards, out of range of your shortsword, then reach out with telekinesis to pull a halberd from the weapons rack.

      2. Ignoring the breach of etiquette that you un-did, I flash my two rings of water and begin to attack. I run forward, and make a slice at the arm that you’re summoning the halberd with, hoping to interrupt your concentration. Unfortunately, I get a 3. (From now on, just assume that I include the +1 in my numbers) As I swing, “Your Highness” whacks my sword away without any effort, and he finishes summoning his halberd.

      3. I attempt to knock the sword out of your hands my halberd. I got a 15 (assume I included the +1 as well).

      4. Unfortunately I rolled a natural 1, to get 2. The short sword flies out of my hand and leaves me vulnerable to attack. Because l got such a horrible roll, I miss my action staring down with disbelief at my sword lying in the dust.

      5. “Let me show you who the real champion is,” I say, thrusting forward with my halberd. I got a 12 on my attack roll.

      6. I neatly step to the side (no roll required because it was less than 14) and try and use his momentum to yank his halberd from him with my telekinesis. I got a 17. “Apparently ‘Your Highness’ isn’t so royal after all,” I say. “Maybe this will pay you back for all your family’s inflated taxes and trumped-up charges.”

      7. I got a 15 on the dodge, so you succeed. The halberd is yanked out of my hands, though just barely. My fingers graze the shaft as I try to reclaim the weapon midair. Backing up away from Phobos, I pull a shield from the weapon rack with telekinesis, holding it out defensively.

      8. Unfortunately for you, shields only defend in one direction. I pull a club from the weapon rack behind you and slam it into your behind, with another roll of 17. I think I detect a squeak of pain from “Your Highness”, and I waste no time in saying so.

      9. I ROLLED AN 18! Watching Phobos reach a hand out to me with telekinesis, I roll down onto the ground, narrowly avoiding the club, which continued into Phobos’ waiting hand. Phobos tosses the club over his shoulder, not caring about it.

        I bring my foot up, smashing it into your nose with a roll of 20. Phobos’ front teeth drop out, and a loud crack comes from his nose (if I hit, of course.).

      10. Sadly, I rolled a 13, which would mean that I got hit. My teeth do not drop out (whatever he would like to say), but he does score another hit to the nose. The score is now 2-0.

        Sensing defeat, I honorably bend the knee and concede this match. Before I leave, I call out over my shoulder, “While you may have won this match, you have not and will never crush my spirit. I will continue to help my family against your oppression in any way that I can.”

  23. This uppity little kid’s house has been annoying me and my family for too long. It’s time to put him in his place in the only way that matters. In the Arena. Of course, since he’s only first degree, I’ll have to temper my spells as if I was one as well. Sincus Vitalis, I formally challenge you to a duel.

    Birthday: 19th day of the 4th month. Born in the year 3335 (or something. I don’t know what year I want) after The Founding.

    Appearance: Tall, olive skinned, with medium length red hair and teal eyes.

    Degree: 1st Air

    Personality: Confident, determined, decisive.

    History: My parents were killed in the Solian/Canterran war, so I was orphaned at a fairly young age (the year 3344 P.F. (Post Founding). Augum was 18 when the battle took place, and he was born in the year 3326 P.F.). I lived on the streets in Blackhaven for a couple years, until I showed a talent with arcanery. A Canterran nobleman by the name of Gareth Vitalis found me using wild arcanery, and adopted me (for who knows what reason). He soon introduced me to the Academy of Arcane Arts, where I learned how to control my powers. I quickly learned that I was adept at fighting, perhaps due to living on the streets for the majority of my life. After attaining my first degree, I went to Antioc for my dueling debut.

    All of this is open to change. I threw all this together in 30 minutes, so I’ll probably be changing it over the next little while.

    I am walking in a cold and slightly snowy night. Sudennly i hear multiple thwomps. I wonder were all those people are going this time of night. i walk in the forest to my little cabin. I hear rustling leaves. Then i hear more thwomps and no less than 5 assasians apper in front of me with 1-2 rings of water on there armes. Then another thwomp and an old bullie appeared in front of me. His name was Aiden. He was colder than his own element,Ice. And now he is 3rd degree and he looks reading to blow my head off.And his last name was…

  26. A lot of huge fire balls fire into the center of the arena filling it with steam. When it dissapates you see me standing facing the entrance were my enemies will emerge from with a slight smirk on my face.

Could something have happened to her? Alex waited until his instructor finally arrived 3 hours late and took him to a lake. It was one of the few lakes in Ley. “Today we shall begin your training for the Arcaner Trials.” She said. “Bu-” Alex began. “I know, but you have to do it to succeed in you task.” she interrupted. “I understand.” Alex murmured. “Let us begin your lesson.” his instructor said grandly.

      1. Better idea to decide teams: I roll a d3 to find my teammate, and the other two link up. Then again, it’s getting kind of late in my time zone. Either we do it soon, or we do it another day.

  44. Hey everyone! I just added a large update to the arena rules (see new portions in red). These are based on suggestions passed on via Attendant Atticus (and a couple others who took the time to email me). I wasn’t able to implement every suggestion, some for balance reasons, others due to time.

    I also haven’t had a chance to read over how things have been coming along as I’ve been incredibly busy with publishing/editing. I have three major audiobook companies vying for the rights to Anna’s first book, which is exciting. Further, I told Attendant Atticus about how the book is progressing (he is free to copy/paste what I said in a comment wherever).

    Anyway, I hope you guys are doing well and I hope these rules clarifications/additions can add some spice to the fun. Play test them and enjoy yourselves, and get back to me in due course with suggestions! Particularly feel free to come up with specific items, their names, their crown costs, and what they do. Same goes for abilities available only to certain houses.

    1. Yes! I forgot to mention this, but spell scrolls! You can for 10xDegree gold, and goes up to the 11th degree. Or, you know, whatever Mr. Bronny would want to do.

Ooh,good idea,I think we should maybe even have a elemental bracelet,that increases your elemental attacks by one or two,a strength arm band that increases physical attacks and a thing to help ward mental spells.Also the spell scrolls shouldn’t count as a spell on your turn due to how expensive they are,I mean a first offensive would be 30gp so 6 matches whereas frenzy would be 100 gp so 20 games.

    3. A telekinesis training cube. You get it pre-set to a weight level, and it increases your degree boost when using Telekinesis, by training with it out of battle. For example:

      Quill/+1/20 crowns
      Inkwell/+2/40 crowns
      Etc.

      Change specifics as needed.

  49. I rolled a 11 and 3 18 and 26 I have to use all my elemental armor then I run towards you cast elemental armor then try to hit you with my spear then tried to kick you an NAT 20!!! So 35 and then a 8 so 23

      2. I roll a 15 so 30 I dodge then for the paralyze I rolled a 13 so 28 then I run up to you whilst running I cast strength and punch you in the neck and kick you in the shins,the neck hit is 14 so 29 and a 12 so 27.

      3. Wait, Centarro does a +4 bonus on top of your +9 degree bonus for +11, but you were doing +15, so that punch would’ve hit.

      5. Oh, forgot you cast Shield.

        Ok, I roll a 18 and 14 for 31 and 27, so I dodge both of your attacks, mutter about how this duel takes forever, and make a sweeping motion with my legs to try and knock you off your feet, simultaneously snapping off “Flustrato” with a jiggly hand motion. That’s a total 27 for Confusion and total 23 for the kick.

    2. I rolled a 15 so 30 and a 13 so 28 then I cast strength the run towards you and try to hit you by the neck for a roll of 12 then try to kick you in the shins for a roll of 12 so 27.

    I let the hit thunk into my lightning armor and incant “Virtus vis viray!” and punch your guts. I rolled a 14, so that’s 27 (I cast Centarro earlier).

    1. I rolled 8 so 17 it hits I use my armor then I run and punch you in the face then twitch my ringer and a wooden club comes at you I roll a 17 for the punch so 26 and a YES A natural 20 so 29 for the club

      Also quick check what’s the score

      1. Kinda unsure, think it’s 1-0.

        I rolled a 5 and 12, so the punch shatters my armor, then the club hits me whilst exposed. (1-1) I then grapple you and try to bring you to the ground, also incanting “SHYNEO” and trying to shock you. Totals: 25 Grapple, 28 Shock.

      2. Uh I rolled at a sixteen so 25 it’s a tie and a natural 20 so I get away from the shock but because of the tie I’m unsure for the grappling.Anyway I then use telekinesis with the fallen club and then try to attack with my spear for the club I roll a 10 so 19 and for the spear I rolled a 3 so it does nothing.

      4. I think ties would work like partial hits, but no point.

        Regardless, I kick your face and use you as a springboard (sorry, gotta hurt) to jump back. In midair, I slap my wrists together and yell “Annihilo bato!”
        Kick: 19, now 32. Second Offensive: 15, now 28.

      5. For the kick it would be impossible to beat,so I didn’t roll for the kick however the second offensive I rolled a thirteen so I use up the rest of my armor the I do duel telekineses with the club and a wooden sword at you I roll a 18 for the club and a 6 for the sword so 27 and 15 so the sword does nothing.then I try to pierce your right leg with my Icey spear for a roll of 20 so 29

      6. I rolled a 15 and 8, so 27 (tie) and 21 (dodge), so I duck down but the club scratches my shoulder. Then a 5, or 18, for the spear. The spear sinks into my thigh and I use my Strength induced muscles to snap it in half, taking the pointed end and trying to stab you before it disappears. That’s a 16, so 29. I then say, “voidus occa” with a hooked fingers gesture, rolling a 12 so 25.

    Personality: Cold and unforgiving, extremely hard to connect with him. He tries to avoid anyone and sets up an emotional barrier around himself. The people around him are usually surprised by his combination of wild nature and excellent planning.

    History: Little is known of Alex’s parents, but what is know is that they went to Ley in search of knowledge and came back years later with a young boy named Alex Runi. Alex’s parents shed little light on the pregnancy in Ley until they day they died. That day Alex’s parents told Alex that during the time in Ley, his mother entered a stage of sudden pregnancy and had Alex a few days later. Alex showed his first sign of Arcanery at age 10 and learned his first degree wild at age 11. Alex was a quick learner, but learning wild takes time so Alex did not receive his second degree until Age 13. As Alex often travels to and back from Ley in order to learn Ley spells, the Leyans have offered to be Alex’s mentor. At after earning his second degree, Alex had enough of learning wild and accepted a mentor, but as Alex was secretive of many things, he convinced his mentor to never tell anyone of his element until he was ready. At age 15, under the guidance of the Leyans, Alex was a 7th degree warlock, though he knew many spells above 7th degree and was ahead in strength for all his spells. And he was ready to enter the Arcaner trials. But Alex surprised everyone around him but suggesting that he wait until he is 10th degree. At the moment, Alex is training on his mental armor to strengthen it past 14th degree.

The ground rumbled with the roar of the crowd, and than confused silence. Adriticus looked about, searching for the source, when he realized that his opponent had come out. His opponent was someone he hadn’t seen in over 4 years, but had thought about every day of his life. His opponent was none other than his twin, aggressive and straight to the point. He had never told anyone of his twin, the thought too painful. His breath caught in his throat while his twin glared at him. He could barely hear Giovanni, the master of ceremonies, reading off the rules. Giovanni looked between the two of them, hesitated, then yelled one word.

    2. A Present Day Continuation of the Bio of Daveed “Lightning Strike” Valdwen: Daveed decided the defeat had to be public. However, he realized that his twin would never duel him voluntarily, so he decided to write an anonymous letter in order to draw him out. He sent the letter, and later heard that his twin had accepted the duel and was now training. So Daveed followed. Soon the day came to prove himself a true Valdwen. He walked out into the arena filled with roaring civilians awaiting the death of the loser. Each boom of the drum took him back to his childhood, reminding him of the abu-NO. It was training. Necessary training. It made him strong. As Daveed walked out, he noted his surroundings, as he always did before a duel. He noted the rumbling crowd, and how it abruptly cut off in confusion, the realization that these two were at the very least related hitting them. Most rewarding was the look of confusion and the consecutive look of recognition that flitted across his twin’s face. Daveed felt something stir inside him, something he had only felt about arcaneology. It was such a bizarre concept for him, the only way to understand it was to stop it. He could barely listen as Giovanni stated the rules, hesitated, and then said one final word.

    History: Daveed Valdwen was born into a fierce family of lightning warlocks, so independent that they refused to live in their kingdoms, Tiberras, cities and villages. This family was infused with wildness brought on by it’s rich lightning element, and was very abusive to each other. Because of the wild tendencies of the lightning element, the family was very strict with arcanery, requiring every child be an advanced dueler and they are of the lightning element.
    Daveed acquired his arcane talent at around the age of 12, and after a couple weeks of studying, started working on his elemental spell. To his great relief, he was indeed of the lightning element. However, his twin did not show the lightning element. Daveed’s parents were very angry, and the conflict ended with his twin being banished. This of course ripped Daveed’s heart in two, but this was quickly stomped out by his cruel and abusive family.
    Daveed continues on in life, rapidly advancing through the degrees as was usual in his family. There was much talent in his family, but that talent had corrupted his family (including himself) and raised they’re pride to obscene levels. His family conditioned him to there way of life, and to view the world as they did. So when Daveed started showing great interests in arcaneology, his family quickly beat it out of him.
    Or so they thought. Daveed quietly pursued his study at any time possible, using the excuse of improving his dueling skills in order to acquire study material. He absorbed anything he could get his hands on, and quickly became the leading knowledge of arcanery in his family. He would stay up late studying, and he always had a thirst to figure out how it all worked.
    In this family, when one turns 16 they are required to go on a quest. Daveed’s quest was the hardest ever, but that is because his family expected him to be the greatest of them even as they beat him raw. So, when Daveed turned 16, and had trained enough in teleport, he was sent to track down his twin brother and dispose of him. So he followed the footsteps his twin had taken 4 years ago.
    These footsteps led him, surprisingly, to a Solian academy.

His family even dreamed about starting their own kingdom, ignoring the improbability of it lasting more than a day. Yes, Adriticus’s family was insane, driven mad by the influences of the lightning element and it’s wild tendencies. Adriticus had always been a little calmer than his family, and because of that he suffered much verbal and physical abuse. Needless to say, when Adriticus started his arcane training and developed tendencies in the element of the air, his family was not pleased.
    Adriticus first exhibited his standard arcane talent at age 12, as was usual for this family. He trained in his first degree for roughly two weeks before starting on his first elemental spell. However, when he was at last successful with the spell, it did not show up as crackling lightning but as a glowing swirling rush of wind around his palm. This of course stunned his family, and, when Adriticus refused to forsake the air element, they banished him from their family.
    Adriticus went to the tiberran capital in search of work and a mentor. He was able to attain enough money to take his first degree test and pass. Soon after, he got apprenticed to a 11th degree air warlock captain in the Tiberran army. From him Adriticus learned not only the arcane arts, rapidly advancing through 5 more degrees in 3 years with a focus on arcane combat, he also taught Adriticus discipline and order. At age 15, having just earned his 6th degree, Tiberra was invaded by the legion. Adriticus’s mentor was sent off to the front lines, and Adriticus followed as his squire.
    One day, during a fierce battle on the Tiberran front, Adriticus’s mentor was killed in a monstrous explosion. Adriticus was then captured after putting up a fierce defense. As he was being transported to Blackhaven, Adriticus managed to escape and snuck away. He traveled for days before he came upon some ruins in Ravenwood, close to Springthaw lake. There he rode out the legion war, becoming more Solian than Tiberran, though he still missed Tiberra and wished to travel back he knew it was impossible.
    He decided to go to the Solian Academy of Arcane Arts after the legion war, earning his 7th and 8th degrees. When the canterrans started taking warlocks to assist in digging out Orion, Adriticus was able to hide in a little-known classroom. Once he heard the sounds of battle in a distant hallway, particularly a cacophonous crack of thunder, he decided it was time to go help. He prowled the hallways, taking out any canterrans he could find. He was trapped in the academy with all of the other students when the dome went up and began training in teleport.
    He starved with Solian students. He suffered with Solian students. And like all of the other Solian students, he almost died. When they were freed and nourished back to health, he started training to fight the canterrans and push them out of what he now felt as his kingdom. Due to his intelligence and fierce dedication to the craft that had been pounded into him by his family, he was one of the few successful with the frenzy spell. So he fought in the battle of the Tallows.
    Now Adriticus is studying his 9th degree as the kingdoms recover from the war. He studies strategy along with his element, and yearns to prove himself as an officer in the slowly rebuilding Solian army. A new dream has been kindled as well, one he never saw himself doing until three heroes attempted it. Adriticus shoots to become an Arcaner, no matter how long it takes. It is his dream, and he will fight for it like he did his kingdom.

I tap my throat and whisper “amplifico” then roar “Come and get me, Olishia!” Then I bow and flare nine lightning rings upon your arrival. I then calmly incant “Centeratoraye xao xen!” then surge forth and try to grapple you (the thing where I lock my legs around your neck). I rolled a 14, so that’s 27? (that’s big)

    1. After I bow I do the calculations and then I do frenzy quickly then exit out of the spell once I moved then I kicked you in the stomach and rolled a 8 so a 17 that lands a hit score 1-1 also after this I’m doing the degree challenge 1-9 degree

    1. Well, I’m quite honored Kaden. You put up quite the fight too!

      Anyways, my creativity comes from multiple things. I take inspiration from duels and fights in Mr. Bronny’s books (I planned something like Malevalent’s Teleport-suicide but safer with a weapon, didn’t use it though). I also was studying other duels before hand, seeing what y’all came up with yourselves. I take non-combative spells from the spell list also and think about obscure uses, such as I did with Seal. But my most effective no-longer-secret trick is to imagine the character I created and place him in duels. I know he’s creative and know what style he favors, but let him do all the work as I take note. If you don’t understand that, I can rephrase it.

      Yep, those are my secrets Kaden! Happy to help a fellow combatant.

      I flick my hand and say “Paralizo null,” then bow a deep bow and kill the Amplify spell that I had (didn’t write that in the beginning but it’s the arena) and shake your hand. “Good fight. You strong. Creative. Someday we do practice and talk strategy.”

  75. I roll to the side rolling a 2 getting a bit scraped giving you 1 point! The sword comes from behind you then i kick you in the stomach then slame my wrist yelling “Anihilo!”

    1. I rolled a 5 on the sword and a 1 (oof) on the First Offensive. So I twist away from the sword but it left me unaware of your fireball, which blasts into my stomach. I temporarily double over before saying “Obdura del boundera sen,” making a quick tracing motion as I cast Seal on your mouth (eh? Now that’s cool). I then swing my flail again.

      Now it’s 1-1

      1. Creative devon! Rolling a 4 i attempt to yank your arm i miss. then i duck rolling 3 so i get partially hit but 0 points. I then sprint at you then summon a spear while pointing it a you while doing a roar cry.(MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Due to your Seal.

      2. Yeah thanks I was looking forward to using that.

        I rolled a three, so your spear grazes my shoulder but no point. I, in turn, make a hooking gesture at your eyes and incant “Voidus occa.” Simultaneously, I bull-rush you (Strength still in effect) in an attempt to knock you across the arena.

      3. I take the mind hit but it doesnt penetrate cause it is my first then i battle port behind you. The i run back a bit and do my best to meditate.

      4. I spin around and charge. While doing so, I yell “Annihilo bato!” and slap my wrists together. Then I swing my flail.

      5. I get up raising my sheild last minute and rolled a 3 i barley block and get thrown back but no point. I yell “summono Arma!” summoning a scythe mid strike parrying the flail and engaging in hand in hand combat(Or in this case Flail and Scythe combat).

      7. I yank at your scythe and say “Disablo” and your scythe vanishes. I follow up with an attempt to grab you by the neck and slam you to the ground.

        Scythe is fancy though. Respect the variety.

      8. I quickly incant “Centeratoraye xao xen” I twirl aside then run back grab a spear and hurl it at you chest.

      9. I rolled a 5 so I duck under the spear and reach out with Telekinesis in one hand to try and shove you to the ground. I let go of my flail and use my other hand to mime crushing an orange, yelling “Dreadus terrablus!”

      10. your strength wares off after telekenieis witch i roll a 2 so you get a point. i dart towards you going left and right dodging fear then as i get up in front uf you i say “Virtus vis viray!” Then punche you in the face.

        Score is 2-1

      11. I dart to the left and you miss, as I rolled a 5. I then draw a star and say “Summano elementus minimus” followed by “elementus attack!” The lightning waist-sized elemental charges you while I make a flying leap kick at your chest.

      12. I send the elemantal at you(I think this is like bending ark of fireball. Up to you devon seeing as your a DM) But to be safe i twirl aside were you would of hit me. Then i do a round house kick.

      13. I rolled a 2 and a 3, so the elemental hits me in the gut and I fall (point), followed by your kick which barely grazes my chin (no point). In retaliation, I shove my elemental off me and send it back at you, where it tries to kick your shin. I, however, say “summano arma” and again summon my triple flail, swinging it at you.

      15. I port behind you and the elemental then i grab you and the elemantal by the neck(Or whatever the elemantels would be) and shove you at him.
        P.S. I cast centarro and strength so thats how i did that.

      16. I rolled a 3, so I flip over the elemental and catch my foot in it, tumble to the ground, leap to my feet, and yell “Annihilo!” as I slap my wrists. I follow up with a swing of my flail. I subconsciously dismiss my elemental.

      17. howd you flip over the elemantal i held you neck? I bend the ark of the lightning bolt back at you than i sent a sword at you with telekeneises(spelled wrong most likely).

      18. Oh, thought you meant you grabbed me and threw me. I guess I slip out of your grip instead? Anyways, I rolled a 3 and 5, so I twirl aside from my bolt and the sword grazes the leg but no points. Now, I snap “Voidus lingua” while crushing at your throat, then swing my flail at your legs.

      19. i Twirl aside both attacks similtamiasly(Wrong spelling two). Then i yank both of your feet fowards hoping to trip you. Then i bull charge you then push you if it doesnt work. If it does i jump on you.

    1. I stand still before flexing all of my muscles underneath my robe and yell “Virtus vis viray!” Then I launch myself forth and tackle you, attempting to pin your arms (idk, roll to see if you escape? 123 no 456 yes?)

Alexander was a young warlock specializing in lightning and at his 8th degree. Like Aeris, Alexander also wants to learn at the Antioc library. He then learnt his 2nd and 3rd degree wild. After that he found a small village in the mountains like Sparrows Perch. (I think that’s what it’s called). He then learnt his 4th degree when the Legion came and burnt down the village and Spyte had to go into hiding again. He started learning the 5th degree when the trio defeated the Legion and he returned home to Blackhaven. He found a mentor and is starting to train in 6th degree. His dream was always to go to the Antioc library and try the Labyrinth, and he is working towards that goal. He had met with a warlock by the name of Oishia Cavanugh who has worked at Antioc with Senior Arcaneologist Ning since age 10. He has started training with her as she has clever fighting techniques and has even created her own spell. This has helped him rise up to the 5th degree and he has almost earned his 6th degree.

        I flash by rings and bow. I immeaditely use Disarm, “Disablo!” and then strike out with my quarterstaff (My weapon)

      2. Uh I didn’t summon a weapon,I cast diablo on you then kick you in the shin.

      3. I roll away and then slap my wrists together shouting “Annihilo” while getting into a fightning position

      4. I then quickly cast centarro and then us Pedro centarric focus I duck and then start to run at you to engage in combat

      5. I re-summon my weapon, “Summano Arma”. Then I stepside your rush and do a quick jab with my weapon.

      6. It pieces a 5 inch long slice on my waist I quickly cast shine on it so the wounds covered by ice to stop the bleeding then from my learning at ohm I quickly run and slide through your legs then get up and kick you in the back.

      7. I fall over onto the ground. Before you can attack me again I yell, “Voidus vis” and cast Darkness. While in the darkness I swing my quarterstaff in a large circle, hoping to catch you off guard.

      8. It catches me slightly off guard but I quickly hear the staff swooshing due to my centarric focus I remember you fell to the ground meaning I could jump over it so I do that the say voidus vis canceling the spell and the leaping backwards in a defensive position.

      9. Surprised by the sudden burst of light I jump up and quickly snap, “Paralizo carcusa cemente” (I don’t know how this works, I think that after one mind armor hit, you are exposed to other mind attacks. Idk please clarify)

      10. Ok so what it means is that you get two mind attacks you can choose which ones don’t do a thing,I rolled a six so nothing happens then I cast virtus vis vira and then run towards you and do a 360 kick.

      1. Well, im Pacific Time. So right now its 10:00 am for me and 1:00 pm for Eastern Time. If you mean what time I can duel, I can duel at 5:00 PST time but if its 5:00 pm est it would be 2 pm for me and I’m at school at that time. But I can do it at 5 pm PST

    1. Really cool, now we have an air warlock to do. We have some nice similarities in your character and mine with the learning wild aspect.
      I’d like to mention that the anti-Telekinesis trick was Whisper Blade-only, but there are ways to escape telekinetic grips as Augum and enemies demonstrate by spinning and rolling, or counter-Telekinesis.

      1. Cool! and sorry. I just won’t use the anti-telekinesis trick in duels. :)

      2. no! you can learn the hard way! Remember Augum can sometimes cut the thing just only when it is on him.(he does it in flight battles)

      4. No no I wasn’t saying not to use it. I was suggesting that you incorporate that into your bio. As for 5th degree, yeah it would be hard without Reveal but you could go by instinct or start slashing like crazy in front of you, your choice.

    1. What we do is make up a story line most likely at least a bit connected to the main storyline of FoaRD and tAL and you can only do 10 th degree for now we don’t have info about how get higher defrees or ranks at the moment.

    This new arena is awesome, and I can’t wait to see how it grows and all the cool arcane battles to come!

    But I had a suggestion to improve the dueling. One problem with the duels is that this page is open to everyone, so it can be confusing if multiple people are trying to duel, or someone confuses who their opponent is, or a third party is trying to comment in the middle of a duel.

    To solve this problem, would it be possible to create individual chat rooms that only approved people could comment in, but were public to view? This way, no one accidentally interrupts a duel, but people can still witness the incredible arcane feats.

    This also might allow for certain “guilds”, dueling groups, and school teams to form. For example, if your character was Solian, they could be a part of the Academy of the Arcane Arts’ dueling team, and compete against other schools in tournaments. The rooms could be tied to someone’s email, and they would be able to approve applications for their certain team or group.

    I don’t know how hard that would be to do with this website software, but I think it would be a great feature if possible.

    1. I can duel the 27th, Eastern Time 3:00 p.m.. For PDT it’ll be around 3 hours behind me, so 12:00 p.m.. For Mountain, it’s only 2 hours behind, so 1:00 p.m.. For Central, it’s only 1 hour behind me, so 2:00 p.m.. NOTE: THESE ARE ALL TIME ZONES RELATIVE TO THE U.S. IF YOU LIVE SOMEWHERE ELSE, (Example, Germany per say) WE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO DUEL.

I I I starttted to SCREAM in shire TEROR I fall to the ground squirming around but after 1 minute and 15 or so seconds I get out of it.I then cast battle port and engage in battle but I ported a couple of feeet behind you to catch you off gaurd as well as so my spear can get you but you can reach me with your weapon.

      1. Yeah I know, I’m just saying that if someone besides you two want to duel I’m open. If you want me to wait until you guys are done that’s fine, just saying that people have been wanting to duel besides you two so just giving other people a chance. :)

    1. You can only use one spell per turn and I lunged and hit you with the spear and it’s tied to my hand.what does toss you to the side mean?

      1. Ok,then I rolIed a four so then I cast summano multa elemental skala*Which I do one right by be one in front of you a couple of feet and the other two on both of your sides,I made them have sharp ice rocks on the top,I then set my elemental weapon on the nearby rock

        *The last word in the spell skula is changed depending on the element so this one is for ice and I’ll come out with the others soon enough.

      2. i yell “Ignito!” melting all the rocks then turning them to puddles. Then i take a few steps backwards.

      3. But ignito can only melt one rock because there’s 4 rocks so you can only melt one.But now ill do my turn,I then levitate my spear from the rock which made the spear super super cold,do how cold the rock was it made even more layers now I run with the the spear floating by my side right towards you which should hit you with the way I’m running.

      5. I rolled a two for the confusion,so I stumble about for around 45 seconds but then I get out of it,1 point to kaden,I decided to roll a number for if the spear would break the shield and pierce you I’m using the same system as the mind attacks,but I roll a six so no effect,then now I start my turn i then I run away from you then I suddenly turn around and run at you but around 1 meter away from you I go to the ground and slide then lift my spear up so that it would hit your stomach as I’m sliding then I roll away and cast summano multa elemental skala but have the rocks all form around your feet so that your trapped by them and now the ice is creeping up your torso.

      7. Luckily at the start I tied a hair tie to my summoned weapon,I’m going to do a roll to see if it works or not your jump i mean,shoot I rolled a six so the jump works perfectly,I then cast spectral teleport and try to hit you,then I immediately run next to one of my summoned elemental rocks,The I ice starts to form on my skin*

        * Basicly a homemade mini ice armor.

      8. actually 6 means bad not perfect. So say you hit me for 1 hit then the rest follows as usaull.and no spect so and i jump backwards and wist my arm yelling “dreadus terriblus!”

    1. I realize now that I forgot everything IMPORTANT in my backstory, so here goes:

    1. Hey Attendant, no clue who you’re dueling (know it’s not me), just wanted to mention that tying your summoned weapon does nothing. If it is a real weapon, Disarm yanks it away. If it’s a summoned weapon, it simply vanishes. Hence, the tying wouldn’t be beneficial.

      btw y’all, not trying to be a knowitall. I’m just a D&D Dungeon Master so… rules and logic and stuff is my favorite.

      1. Oh I though that it did because in FoaRD in the practice duel they said that augum asked if they had any straps because if so the it to your weapon to stop disarm.Also I’m trying to fight kaden because look below he did his first move.

      2. Oop didn’t see that part (with Kaden, not the practice duel). As for the practice duel, Augum had the five (five?) Ordinary swordsmen do so, but not warlocks.

  122. Small add on to my character. He stole a book of arcanery from a store and saw that you could make your own spell. So he made a spell after years and it sucked all his stamina and nearly gave him Arcane fever. His spell is that he can say “Ignito!” and focus on anything warming it up to any tempeture. He also had Harvard for his only mentor outside of AAA.

    1. Think you should talk to Mr. Bronny about spell creation, ’cause to me it sounds like in his books it takes a master warlock, basically an Unnameable.
      But the creativity is nice! Boil you opponents lol

      Degree: 9th Degree

      Backstory: Leo is from Crimson Tooth, where he was forced to learn arcanery wild, because his family was to poor to afford to move to Iron Feather to get him in the Academy. Soon, the war against all of Sithesia started, and his father was conscripted into the army. Leo thought this was a prime opportunity to meet the fabled Trio. Since he was but a child he didn’t understand at the time that they were at war. So, he traveled to Solia with his father. He then did odd jobs to get into the Academy. At age 14 he finally got enough coin to go for a year at the Academy. He was very competent at Arcanery, so he climbed the Degrees. Now, he is 16, a 9th degree, and a Solian citizen.

Also this is my spell I would make summon elemental rock,it’s a 8th degree spell that summons 3 rocks,each degree after they gain size and every three degrees they summon one more rock,The rock corresponds to the element if it was a fire element then it would be blazing hot rocks that could be maneuvered by the caster and would hurt for all other elements,the wording is this,”summano multa elemenantal skala”,the corresponding motions are here you visualize you taking arcane stamina and bunching it together forming a rock,the gesture is your hands moving as if you were forming something in your hand.As you get more experenced you can vary the heat or cold,the size and even the form of it.I hope it sounds intresting!

    bio: Alexander grew up in the desserts of sierra growing grapes.He wanted to do arcanery at a young age but was always afraid of doing things wrong because it was his fault his parents were found and killed by the legion when on a trip to sell their grapes.so instead of asking for his grandmothers help he learned arcanery wild for a couple months until he was discoverd.his grandmother taught him and at 12 he got his first degree in lightning.when canteria invaded solia he thought solia deseved it and attempted to join the canterrian military.he was sent to tideria which he didn’t expect and was forced to watch as his fellow soldiers killed tiderians to balance thier blood debt.when the battle between the dragons happend he was one of the gound troops that was foced to leave his blade a family hierloom behind.he went back to solia to attempt to steal it from the army’s armoury. he succeded and decided to stay in soilia, now thought dead by his family and friends in sierra and learning at the academy in solia.

      Alexander wants to be an arcaneologist and study dreadnought tools especially.he dreams of going to the leyan library and learning about dreadnought and riven craftsmanship to attempt to forge more dreadnought tools and armor.in battle he is passive but not defensive instead choosing to only evade and counter attack or use obscure stratagies such as shrink and chameleon to get weak hits but a lot of them.he dosent like to be the first to attack even in duels but will take any advantage after that.

      3. Alexander, for the part of being 8th but learning the 9th and 10th degrees, see rule 7, which states that we don’t learn beyond the degrees for simplicity. Also, artifacts and outside tools are left behind in the arenas (see Augum’s arena duels, particularly with Katrina) so the Dreadnought axe is nice but can’t be used in the duels.

  130. Dragoon Devon “Wild Storm” Lucheinus, bio.
    Devon grew up in a wild middle-of-nowhere town in Nodia, fighting amongst the animals, training physically and mentally, and doing rigorous farmwork. Later, he discovered his arcane talents at 13, attending Nodia’s academy (Hearthfire, I believe). He ascended quickly, as he is a 9th degree lightning warlock at only sixteen. Devon was thankful for his youth that built strength and combined said strength with potent arcanery. As a result, he is a fierce offensive combatant who wields brute force, such as devastating Offensives, a powerful summoned flail, and (his favorite) Strength. Devon was also amongst the first Nodians to join the Arcaner order as a Dragoon, learning the Birth, Roar, and Mirror Simuls.

    2. Devon is also a wanderer now in Solia, found often amongst the Henawa. He learns arcanery on his own (but has a book) and gets his degrees by visiting cities. His aspirations are to become a battlefield commander if he fails the Squire test. If he passes, he wants to become an honorable and brave and mighty Dragoon. Regardless, he knows his future holds blood and war for him.

      2. Are you sure? It sounds to me like you can die within the trial, but can also fail by breaking the Code yet still live. I’m drawing on how Dragoon Pelagia said “You cannot retake this trial,” and Dragoon Trintus Bladeofbright said in the Dragoon written test, “Unlike the Squire trial, you may retake this test next term upon failure.”

  131. Warning it is kinda long and 0.00001 percent like Augum’s.Here is my Bio:kaden grew up on the Grindlemen’s farm on the Tallows yet he was canteran. He was an orphan. He always wanted to know the arts of necromancy. He is a fire element. He left at 10 because the legion was coming. He was on the run and secretly faught against the legion, and he also learned arcaney secretly. When the Legion was defeated he was happy but didnt openly celebrate. He went to the academy but stayed quit. When the canterans invaded he helped the canterans. A little Solian sabotage there and little intel for the Cantterans there. He when he fights in the arena he isn’t kaden anymore. He is kaden Wildfire. He is quick on his feat and is said he is becoming a Arcaner.

    So, how do you like it? The first part is basically the only simularities to Augum. Sorry for misspellings.

    Bio: Benjamin grew up in the small town of Poleford, a settlement on the Gamber River in the Tallows. He’s not the sharpest sword in the armory, but surprisingly quick with learning new things, which has allowed him to advance all the way to the 7th degree. He believes a solid defense is the best offense, and relies on his opponents wearing themselves down before he finishes them off with a single combo. He often trains with he feet rooted in the ground, favoring his shield over agile movement. His dream is to one day learn the fabled “Mirror of The Dragon” arcaner simul, which would turn him into even more of a defensive powerhouse.
