I grew up on Dragonlance and probably spent way too much time playing role-playing games. Then came the video games. But then, Nintendo was life in Toronto of '86. As a matter of fact, much of my youth could be considered "wasted" exploring escapism of one form or another.
Now I'm a full-time author living in British Columbia, Canada. I have a wife who taught me what it means to love someone unconditionally. Buddha, my grumpy but rumpled-with-love cat, likes to keep watch from a Lego castle near my desk. (Update: said Lego castle has long been dismantled. Now she basks under a sun lamp).
I suppose my favorite sagas are Harry Potter, Ender's Game, Lord of the Rings, Narnia, and Game of Thrones. I also love true-life survival tales like Into Thin Air, Shadowdivers, and Perfect Storm. As for movies, I regularly re-watch Bladerunner, Star Wars, Highlander, Aliens, Limitless, Edge of Tomorrow, Interstellar, Lost in Translation, and Margin Call.
But I've been most inspired by Harry Potter. Seriously, because if it hadn't been for HP, I'd never have dared. I simply stood on the shoulders of a giant. Thank you for writing that story, Joanne Rowling, it was extremely re-readable. I can only hope to capture my readers' imagination as you have captured mine.
When I was a kid, I dreamed I could spread my arms as wings, jump off the ground, and fly. My head was in the clouds (and in many ways, still is). It would be fair to say that my love of fantasy began then, steadily refined by movies, video games, and cozy books.

Not just Ender’s Game ,but the books that follow are fascinating!

Hey Sever! I’ve just gotten done with a reread on both series (something the quarantine has made possible) and I’m brimming with question!
First off, in The Arinthian Line, Valor we discover that Augum has the potential to learn spells in the healing element. Seeing as the Trio and their friends are in Ley, I’ve been wondering if Mrs. Stone will teach him some of the rudiments, so as to make things easier for the adventurers in future. If your not going to do this, is it simply because the process of learning a whole new element is too time-consuming for Augum, and thus will have to devote his time on learning more combat efficient spells? Or is it simply because it would throw the whole dynamic in a new direction, for the prospect would make Jengo less… necessary?
ARGH, so many questions, but I feel all are most certainly spoiler-protected (such as: is their a way for the Trio to increase their dragon sizes, will they learn any more spells like Centarro in Ley, what’s happening with the remaining Path Archons, and will we ever see more Leyan intervention in this closing series?). Questions aside, you are a brilliant author, Sever Bronny, one who has made a beautiful fantasy come to life in a way I haven’t seen since Eragon. Well done.
Both, actually! For one, Augum would need to focus all his time and energy into learning the new element. Wielding dual elements is historically ultra rare because of the difficulty involved. As well, it would compromise his position as leader, him spending all this time learning an element someone like Jengo is already fully devoted to. Alas for Augum, he had an opportunity and he did not pursue it, but perhaps when he is old and time permits, he may give it a go, who knows ;)

1) Yes, there is a way for the trio to increase their dragon size
2) No, they will not learn more spells like Centarro in Ley at this time

Do you have any updates on if there will be a hardcover collection? I love to have a hardcover copy of all of my favorites.
No update at this time, but I am still planning on creating a special hardcover edition for the series. It will take time, but hang in there :)
What is a book series you reccomend while I wait for book 4?
Hmm. Besides the obvious ones (Harry Potter, LOTR, The Hobbit, Name of the Wind, Eye of the World, Ender’s Game), you could try Victor Kloss’s Elizabeth’s Legacy (Royal Institute of Magic, Book 1).

Yeah, on the seat of the other chair, under the table. Does he ever scare you by going on the outside of tha glass enclosure?? I have a cat named George who would definitely do that! He has more bravery and urge to adventure than he has common sense. Of course if it suddenly got difficult he would be expecting me to rescue him!
